FAQs

I am currently going to another decompression clinic, why should I come to your center ?

Besides being the most affordable, we are also Canada’s true Neuro-Decompression center. No other clinic offers what we offer in terms of a comprehensive treatment protocol. We do not use false claims to promote our treatment.

How is decompression different from traction?

Although based on the premise of traction, spinal decompression is different because it can target the specific segment that is affected in the spine. The amount of force is controlled, and is more powerful if necessary. Further, the timing and frequency of pulls can be controlled with decompression treatments, but not with simple traction.

What conditions is this system used for?

This system is excellent for any type of neurological condition, or disc and joint problem. Conditions include herniated, bulged or protruding discs, spinal stenosis, sciatica or pinched nerves (radiculopathy), and carpal tunnel syndrome. Low back and neck problems are the most common areas treated.

Are there any side effects or risks to the treatment?

No. Patients are fully screened before beginning the treatment. Not all patients are candidates for treatment. The treatment is completely safe and pain free. Treatments are always supervised by licensed practitioners.

What is the pupose of oxygen?

Although there are many benefits to enhanced oxygen, the main purpose here is to calm and relax the patient.

How long does the treatment take?

Treatment may last anywhere from two weeks to three months, depending on the condition.

Is the treatment affordable?

Yes. You can come in for a free consultation and the doctors will determine if you are a candidate. Treatments are usually covered by insurance plans and any patient with financial constraints are given options convenient for them. Senior discounts are also available.

How do I determine if I’m a candidate?

Consultations are always free at the clinic. When you come in for the initial appointment, bring your MRI, CT scan, or radiographs of the affected area if you have had them, those results are helpful. Various tests can be performed on site if you have not had any previously done. The evaluating practitioner will then determine how your condition will benefit from the treatment, and may go over a treatment protocol and schedule with you. You can ask questions at this point before deciding to proceed with neuro-oxygen decompression.

Do you use the DRX 9000 machine?

No, we do not.
